Our Basins remain on a 12/12 hour light cycle year around. We use an eighteen inch double fluorescent fixture and incorporate a combination of an Exo Terra Repti-Glo 2.0 and 5.0 for full spectrum lighting or 25 watt compact fluorescent bulbs with a 6,500 degree K color temperature.
